Jayne Scala has been named the 2023 Dairy Queen Spokesperson for the Children’s Miracle Networks’ art easel fundraising program.

We are thrilled to announce that Jayne Scala, the owner of Dairy Queen # 11864, in Waterdown Ontario has agreed to be the 2023 Dairy Queen spokesperson for the CMN Art Easel program that raises funds for children’s hospitals across Canada. The art easel program features Canadian Made sports, music, and art prints that DQ customers bid on with the featured print changed every two weeks. The 160+ Dairy Queen locations participating in the art easel program have raised over $700,000 for CMN in non-designated donation income.

Ron Gardner, the President of Funding Innovation, the program operator, said

Jane Scala was the 2022 recipient of both the Miracle Maker Award and the Step Up for Kids Award. Clearly, we could not have asked for a better DQ Spokesperson for the art easel fundraising initiative.

Jayne hopes other Dairy Queen franchisees will follow her lead and will agree to host art easels in their stores to raise incremental funds for Children’s Miracle Network.
