April 2024 – Funding Innovation’s Derek Galenzoki and Chief Warrant Officer Brodie Holland present Neil Drachenburg, Senior Manager of Safety and Security for the Kelowna International Airport, with a commemorative Avro Arrow print in recognition of the airport’s participation in the Support our Troops “Airways of Heroes” fundraising Initiative. Since joining the program in 2018, the four art easels in the airport have raised an incredible $57,284, ranking Kelowna Airport #2 of the 22 airports that have participated participating in the program. In total, the easels in airports across Canada have raised over $500,000 for Support Our Troops.
