Trotting to Water Penticton artist Terry Isaac supports wetland conservation Artwork selected for Ducks Unlimited Canada’s national collection January 2018 – Oak Hammock Marsh, Man.

Terry Isaac draws inspiration for his artwork by observing nature, saying that he’s always “on the lookout for magical moments.” He says horses are one of his favourite subjects to paint, noting that many live wild in the Penticton, B.C. area. In Trotting to Water, he says: “I tried to capture the feeling of dust and heat as they form a line – heading for a cool drink.”
