This open edition giclée print features the historical Taj Mahal. A mausoleum of white marble built in the Agra District in Uttar Pradesh between 1631 and 1648. It is located on the right bank of the Yamuna River in a vast Mughal garden that encompasses nearly 17 hectares. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

About the artist: Lord Weeks, 1849-1903, was an American artist, painter and explorer who was born in Boston, Massachuesetts. He is one of the most celebrated American Orientalists and lived a very private life outside of extensive travel to the East. He was a member of the Légion d’honneur, France, an officer of the Order of St. Michael, Germany, and a member of the Secession, Munich.
