Description
AN open edition giclee print of a replica tour poster and replica ticket from Pink Floyd’s performance at Le Stade Olympique in Montreal, Quebec. This concert was the catalyst for Roger Waters writing “The Wall”. The crowd at the show was in an unruly mood, with some people even letting off fireworks. At one point, an overzealous fan started to get very close to Roger who beckoned the fan closer by calling out “here piggy”. When the fan got close enough Roger spat in his face. Roger has said that he regretted this incident and it got him to thinking how Pink Floyd and their fans had become distant and that a wall had come between them. The rest is history! A replica ticket for the show sits below the poster and a platinum record above. All items rest upon a black mat backing, there is a black top mat and it is framed in a 2 ½” black ridged moulding, under glass.
