About the Artist: Diane Levesque was born in Vancouver BC but presently resides in Prince George BC. She is a proud member of the Dzawada’enuxw ( Kingcome Inlet, Alert Bay and Gilford Island). Her interest in art began in 2003 after she visited the reserve on Guildord Island. Her passion is creating art in many forms which include painting with acrylics and oils on canvas, water colours and alcohol ink, pottery, beaded jewelry using semi-precious stones/glass beads, leather earrings and metal work using a plasma cutter with a variety of metals (stainless steel and aluminum)
