Description
Michael Fishel was born in 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana and is described as a fantasy visionary artist and illustrator. He enrolled in the John Herron Institute of Art in Indiana after being discharged from the military in 1971. Shortly after leaving the institute feeling unsatisfied with the traditional lesson plans. He continued creating his art gaining popularity selling his work as posters, puzzles, and win books.
About the Print: In his iconic style this reproduction print is a reproduction of an original mixed media painting created by Michael Fishel. The image depicts a classic 50’s gas stop and garage decorated with license plates, Coca-Cola memorabilia and automotive signs. Two vintage cars and a golden retriever sit out front of the garage. The print is double matted with a white top mat, black trim, and framed in a 2” black flat moulding.
