Description
This DC comics cover collage features a variety of DC comic book covers, with a few raised throughout. A white top mat sits on top and it is framed with a 2 ½” ridged black moulding. Only 40 frames have been made. The initials “DC” came from the company’s popular series Detective Comics which was the creation of entrepreneur Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson partnered with magazine distributor Harry Donenfeld in 1937. While superhero comics are what DC Comics is known for throughout modern times, the genres in the early anthology titles consisted of funnies, Western comics and adventure-related stories starting out.
